Transport minister P Mahendar Reddy on Wednesday warned that the government would crack down the transport operators running bus services in the state against the law.
After a review of the functioning of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, Reddy spoke to the media and said that full bifurcation of RTC would be completed in two months.
He stated that private vehicles were not safe and as many as 1,400 persons lost their lives because of lack of safety in private vehicles. RTC, on the other hand provides safe transport, the minister added.
432 routes has been identified by the government in the state that were problematic in terms of transport and access and that it was taking steps to set right this issue, he said.
