Hyderabad: The important member of Hindu Terrorist network group, Swami Aseemanand was exonerated by Jaipur Court. He had recorded his confession statement under section 164 of CrPc at the court of Mr. Deepak Vyas in Tishazari Court, New Delhi.
Mr. Deepak Vyas recorded his statement at the NIA Special Court of IV Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally in Hyderabad. In his statement, he mentioned that CBI team had presented Aseemanand in his court in 2010 for recording his confession statement. Mr. Vyas told that he had given Aseemanand two days’ time to Aseemanand to reconsider his intention of making confession statement. After two days, Aseemanand presented himself in his court on 16th December 2010 and he made a request again for recording his confession statement. Aseemanand’s statement was recorded in Hindi covering 42 pages. In his confession statement, Aseemanand had exposed many secrets. Mr. Vyas told that Aseemanand had expressed his intention that he wants to record his confession statement without any pressure from anyone. He had also told Mr. Vyas that his confession statement may lead death punishment for him. After two hour statement, Mr. Rajvardhan Reddy, Advocate interrogated Magistrate Mr. Vyas.
It may be mentioned that accused number 6 in Makkah Masjid bomb blast case, Swami Aseemanand was arrested in Haridwar in 2010. There are 304 witnesses in this case but only 165 witnesses could record their statements so far.
It may be stated that in his confession statement, Aseemanand had told that the Hindu terrorists had targeted Hyderabad since the Nizam of Hyderabad wanted Hyderabad State to be merged into Pakistan after Indian Independence. He had also exposed that it was decided to retaliate the bomb blast of Muslim terrorists with bomb blast only.
After the change of Govt. in the Center, all the cases of Hindu terrorists were shifted to NIA. Aseemanand deviated from his confession statement made earlier saying that security agencies had exerted pressure on him for recording confession statement.
