Jaipur: Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot on Tuesday alleged the state government has “betrayed” Madrasa para-teachers by not regularising their job.
He said the BJP in its election manifesto had promised to regularise NRHM staff, Vidhyarthi Mitra and Madrasa para-teachers.
“Except Madrasa para-teachers, the government has initiated the process of regularising all other employees,” he claimed.
Nothing has been done in the case of Madrasa para- teachers nor has the government given any assurance to them, he said.
He also met a delegation of Madrasa para-teachers at the Congress office in Jaipur.
Expressing concern on the condition of farmers in the state, he said, “The government is not serious about farmers. Rajasthan’s agriculture sector has suffered setbacks in the BJP rule.”
Power tariff has been increased and farmers are also not being provided with adequate quantity of seeds in time, he alleged.
