Madonna’s slow directing skills irritates cast

London, August 13: Pop queen Madonna’s overanalysis of every scene while shooting her directorial project “W.E.”, has been irritating her cast and crew to no end.

Apparently she took three hours to shoot a 10-second bath scene with Australian actress Abbie Cornish, said a source from the sets, reports contactmusic.com.

Madonna has earlier directed only one other project – “Filth and Wisdom” which released in 2008, apart from being the writer of a documentary “I Am Because We Are”.

Her latest project is a two-tier tale about Britain’s King Edward VIII’s relationship with American Wallis Simpson and a modern story regarding a woman called Wally Simpson. Madonna also took part in writing the screenplay of the film.

It has been reported that Madonna’s teenage daughter Lourdes also has a cameo in the movie, for which filming began in London in June. The film is due for release in 2011.
