Washington : Children can stay home alone, is the new battle Madonna is fighting for.
The 57-year-old songstress wants her three minor children, David, mercy and Rocco to have the right to live in her New York City apartment when she is on tour, reports TMZ.com.
The ‘ Rebel Heart’ hit-maker sued the owners of her apartment building over a new rule put in place years after she signed the lease.
According to Madonna, when she originally signed, the deal was that the apartment could be used by her, her spouse, her children, other relatives and even domestic employees.
But in April 2014 the owner amended the lease to say the children could only live in the home while she, a spouse or partner was there as well and the rule applies to everyone in the building.
The singer, who wants the rule to be voided, wants her team of housekeepers and nannies to be there in the house to take care of the kids. (ANI)
