Students and Staff of Madina Public Schools Nampally and Himayath Nagar did not attend the school yesterday also in view of the two day holiday declared by the management of these school. The officials of Wakf Board had reached the school at 7:30 a.m. to continue educational activity in these schools. Two days back, Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, Special Officer of Wakf Board had taken over the wakf properties under the direct control of Wakf Board. He had announced that the educational activities of these schools will not be stopped. He had also declared that a committee consisting of Educational experts would be formed soon.
On the instructions from Mr. Iqbal, Mr. M.A. Hameed, CEO of Wakf Board registered a complaint against the Secretary of the school, Mr. K.M. Arifuddin under sections 406, 409 and 420. Another complaint has also been lodged against the Secretary for closing down the educational institutions forcibly.
