Madhya Pradesh: Eatery worker stripped, thrashed for eating extra

Betul: An Awful incident of an eatery joint worker reportedly stripped down and thrashed by his manager for eating extra than his allotted meals is reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Betul District.

The victim identified as Manish is currently undergoing treatment. Betul district is located at a distance of 178 Kilometers from Madhya Pradesh’s capital city Bhopal.

NDTV reported the eatery owner has now been arrested.

Similar incidents of thrashing, beating people over petty issues have become common at these dhabas and local restaurants with Delhi reporting 18 percent of 462 murders falling under this category.

A 30-year-old customer was allegedly murdered by three Dhaba workers in Delhi after he complained about the quality of food he was served.

The victim identified as Preet Vihar’s Kamal Dhaba had only complained about the food quality which enraged the three workers who attacked Kamal and hit him multiple times with a broken ladle killing him.

However, the Police had nabbed the three accused for the victim’s murder.
