Dhar (MP): Dinesh Sharma, a BJP candidate from Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar, was received with a garland of shoes by a local resident. The incident took place while Sharma was campaigning for the upcoming civic polls in the region. The accused was enraged over the scarcity of drinking water.

Man who made Dinesh Sharma wear garland of shoes said that “there’s acute water problem. Had complained about it. Our women went to the then Chairperson to complain but a complaint was registered against them. They were called multiple times to police station even at night. So I did this”.
