Madhapur Metro Station now open for commuters

Hyderabad: The recently inaugurated Madhapur Metro Station on the Ameerpet-Hitec City stretch is now open for commuters begging this day.

With this, seven of the eight stations on the Hitec City stretch of the Hyderabad metro will be functional for commuters.

“Only Jubilee Hills Check Post station will be left, and it will be opened after the reversal is completed by May end,” an official press release said.

In the current scenario, the trains are being run in twin-single line method between Hitec City and Jubilee Hills Check Post due to an absence of reversal in front of Cyber Towers and Trident Hotel beyond Hitec City.

Until the reversal facility is completed the trains shall be brought to their respective line directions by making use of the crossover line at Jubilee Hills Check Post, the press release added.
