Bangalore, August 27: PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani, an accused in the 2008 Bangalore blasts case, was today taken to a hospital for check-up from the central jail, where he is lodged after being remanded in judicial custody.
Madani underwent tests at the government-run Jayadevegowda Institute of Cardiology and his ECO and ECG levels were found to be normal.
B C Shrinivas, the cardiologist who attended on him, told PTI that Madani has been referred to a multi-speciality hospital for further investigation.
The PDP leader, who was arrested on August 17 at Kollam in Kerala by Karnataka Police, had told the court yesterday that the medical facilities provided to him were “not proper and insufficient”, considering his ailments
