Deputy floor leader of legislative council asked chief minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao to resolve power crisis. Addressing a press conference in assembly premises he told that industrial, agricultural and other development activities had come to standstill due to power crisis. ‘Power minister C Lakshmaiah is promising daily 7 hour power supply but Discom claims that power can’t be supplied for more than 5 hours daily which proofs that there is no coordination between officers and power minister. Government instead of taking farmers into confidence is misleading them by telling lies as a result 500 farmers have committed suicide so far.’ Said Mohammed Shabbir.
