Former minister and MLC Mohammed Ali Shabbir claimed that Modi’s anti-Muslim secret agenda has come to light. Najma Heptulla by terming Muslim reservations as unnecessary has insulted the sentiments of Muslims.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhawan Mr. Shabbir said in Andhra Pradesh Muslims were not given reservations in the name of religion but on the basis of poverty and social and economic backwardness; while the Supreme Court also okayed reservations on the basis of occupation.
Mr. Shabbir asserted that Najma Heptulla who took charge as Minority Affairs Minister has no empathy with public nor she has ever contested as corporator. Congress made her Rajya Sabha member for 4 times and now she is also BJP member of Rajya Sabha hence she has no idea of Muslim poverty and backwardness nor she tried to know the problems of Muslims.
