Senior Congress leader and former minister Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir took oath as the council member in the name of God in Urdu language. He pledged to try his best to provide education and employment to Muslims. He announced to take concrete measures for the minority sub plan and promotion and development of Urdu language. Chairman Andhra Pradesh legislative council Dr. Chakrapani administered oath to Mohammed Ali Shabbir.
Talking to media following the oath taking ceremony, M A Shabbir told that Muslims also have equal responsibility along with the government for the promotion of Urdu language.
