Terming the announcement of Telangana as a historic decision, senior Congress leader and former minister Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, congratulated the people of Telangana and thanked Congress president Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Dig Vijay Singh. He appealed Seemandhra leaders to cooperate to live separately as brothers.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi he told that today is the festive day for people of Telangana. Telangana people are struggling for 56 years for formation of Telangana state. Thousands of young men sacrificed their lives for Telangana; finally today their dream is going to come true.
