After the impressive victory of Congress party in local body elections in Telangana, senior leader and MLC Mohammed Ali Shabbir has thanked voters. Talking to Siasat, Mohammed Ali Shabbir who is on a visit to Makkah Mukarrama for performing Umra said that the local body elections are as per expectations and hoped that Congress will win majority in Telangana. He told that Congress won 17 seats in local body elections and it enjoys support of an independent candidate. He claimed that municipal body election results indicate that Telangana people have no faith in TRS.
