Congress MP (Rajya Sabha) Mr. M A Khan called on foreign minister Mrs. Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi. He submitted a memorandum regarding safe return of 90 people of Hyderabad and Telangana who had left for Iraq to visit holy places.
Mr. M A Khan told that he met foreign minister Sushma Swaraj and informed that two caravans from Hyderabad led by Mrs. Sameena Fatima and Tayyaba have left to visit holy places. Another caravan from Vizianagaram has gone to Iraq. They are stranded in Najaf and are facing lot of difficulties they must be brought to India safely.
Sushma Swaraj assured that Indian government is constantly in touch with the Iraq rulers for protection of Indians and to bring them back to their home country safely.
