Congress MP (Rajya Sabha), Mr. M A Khan has signed on Pranab Mukherji’s nomination paper. Congress party High Command has presented union finance minister Pranab Mukherji as presidential candidate and has started seeking support from other parties too.
Union minister for parliamentary affairs Mr. Pavan Kumar Sunil took the signatures of Congress MPs on nomination papers.
The signatories included Rajya Sabha MP Mr. M A Khan among 3 Congress MPs from Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. M A Khan told that signatures of Congress MPs from all states besides MPs of allied parties are being taken on Pranab Mukherji’s nomination paper.
NDA is also supporting Pranab Mukherji instead of contesting for the prestigious post. Hence it is most likely that Pranab Mukherji will win the presidential election by thumping majority.
