M J Akbar says Modi’s decision not to feature in school curriculum good

Noted journalist and BJP member M J Akbar has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decision not to be a part of the school curriculum.

Akbar said: “It is a good thing that the Prime Minister has refused to include his life struggle as part of the school curriculum. He has made the decision from his heart and mind.”

“Modi has been subjected to a lot of criticism by the opposition. His only aim is to help the country progress and work for the upliftment of the deprived,” Akbar told ANI.

Earlier, on hearing reports of some schools wanting to profile him in their curriculum, Modi had tweeted: “Am reading in the news that some states want to include Narendra Modi’s life struggles as a part of their school curriculum. I firmly believe that the life story of living individuals should not be included as a part of the school curriculum.”

“India has a rich history of several stalwarts who made India what it is today. Young minds should read about these greats and emulate them-PM,” Modi tweeted further. (ANI)
