M J Akbar says Budget 2014-15 is a budget for jobs

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson M J Akbar said here on Thursday that this year’s general budget proposals will generate more jobs for the youth.

“This budget will be a budget for jobs. It has started from today, and you will get the result within a year. We should welcome this budget,” said Akbar.

Criticising the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government for ruining the national treasury from past so many years, Akbar said that the government needs to make the budget keeping in mind this truth.

“It’s a prosperous budget. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley are presenting it very intelligently, because they have a vision in their direction, and they are working to fulfill the dreams. But they have the truth also in front of them which shows the way the entire national treasury has been ruined in past 10 years. They have to make the budget on the basis of that only. The country has lot of hopes with this budget and the government,” he added.

Earlier today, Jaitley presented the General Budget for fiscal 2014-15 in the Lok Sabha.
