The government has relieved Mr. M A Hameed Executive Officer State Hajj Committee from the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board. Incharge Principal Secretary Minority Welfare J Raymond Peter issued orders in this connection. As per the orders M A Hameed who was given additional charge as Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board has been relieved with immediate effect and Mr. M A Ghaffar deputy secretary Waqf Board has been given the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board.
As per the orders, M A Hameed was directed to immediately resign from the post and handover the charge to M A Ghaffar. It must be recalled that M A Ghaffar has served as Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board in the past also. M A Ghaffar will serve as CEO Waqf Board till the new appointment.
