A six-year-old girl raped by two boys who lives in her neighborhood at Saroornagar, is battling for life at a government hospital near Charminar.
Police took the alleged rapists, 15-year-old and 13-year-old boys into custody, who lured the girl offering chocolates and sexually assaulted her
Saroornagar police inspector S. Krishna Prasad give details of the case, though the incident occurred on Friday evening, the incident came to light after cops booked the case on Wednesday.
According to police the girl is a Class 1 student, was alone at home as her parents had gone out for work. “The boys approached her and offered her chocolates.
Since she knew them she went with them. They took her to their veranda and overpowered her. They raped her one after the other and dropped her home,” said a relative of the victim.
When her parents came back, the girl did not tell her parents initially out of fear. Doctors found out the truth after she was taken to hospital with heavy bleeding by her parents. Doctors have said that an infection has spread in the last two days and the victim had lost a lot of blood.
“We booked a case under IPC for rape and under Sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The accused boys have been arrested, who are students of a local school. “We will be produced before juvenile court soon”, police said.
