HYDERABAD: The Congress is likely finalised the Lok Sabha polls candidates by February-end, said party president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday.
At the nearly three-hour meeting at the party headquarters with AICC general secretaries and in-charges of various states, campaign strategies and alliances were also discussed.
At a strategy session, Rahul said new faces should be brought in place of leaders, over those who have lost the elections 2-3 times.

Rahul asked his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Jyotiraditya Scindia, the newly appointed Uttar Pradesh in-charge to strengthen the party in the state in “mission-mode”.
AICC in charge of organization, KV Venugopal said the Congress chief has directed leaders to ensure that the campaign should be a ‘decent’ and ‘solid’ one, and “not like the BJP”.
“We have discussed preparedness of the party for Lok Sabha polls 2019. The need for a mechanism at the central level to monitor the campaign in various states was also discussed at the meeting,” said Venugopal.
