New Delhi, April 16: The Lok Sabha was today adjourned for the
day after the Opposition created furore, demanding the resignation
of Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor over his
alleged role in the Kochi IPL deal.
Earlier, the members of the BJP, Samajwadi Party and RJD had
forced the adjournment of the Question Hour and Zero hour.
As soon as the House re-assembled at 1400 hrs, after the second
adjournment, some of the Opposition members rushed to the well,
shouting slogans against the MoS, alleging that he had misused his
authority to secure a favour for a close associate.
