NTR TDP president and wife of late NTR Nandamuri Laxmi Parvathi here on Saturday announced that she would join the YSR Congress Party soon.
Speaking to the media, Laxmi Parvathi said she would write a letter to the Election Commission of India resigning to the post of president of NTR TDP.
Reminding that late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao had set up NTR TDP, she claimed that she strove to achieve the goals of NTR for the past 16 years. Some unscrupulous persons, who praised her as mother, hatched a conspiracy against her, she alleged. She said that she would write a Telugu book “NTR Tharuvatha” (After NTR). YSR Congress party was the right platform to achieve her goals, she said, adding that YSRCP would come to power in the next elections.
