A trough of low pressure running from Orissa to South Tamil Nadu across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, associated to Upper Air Circulation, lies over North West Bay of Bengal adjacent to Orissa and West Bengal Coast. A Cyclone Warning Centre (CWC) spokesman here told UNI this evening under its influence, rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at few Places over South Costal Andhra Pradesh. The CWC forecast heavy rainfall would occur at one or two places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours. Strong surface winds from South Westerly Direction with speeds reaching 40 to 50 KMPH were likely along and off Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours. The rainfall recorded in CM during the last 24 Hours are: Palakonda 12, Kalingapatnam 11, Veeragattham 9, Bobbile 7, Cheepurapalli 6 and Paravathipuram, Saluru, Darshi, Paderu, Peelaru Bridge 5 each.
