Visakhapatnam, November 28: Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana on Sunday announced that the State Government would operate RTC buses with less fare for weekly `santha’ (market) in the tribal areas.
Talking to media persons after launching 50 city bus services in the city, Botsa said that the low fare bus facility would help the girijans to do their business comfortably. Further, it would facilitate the people in the neighbouring areas too to come ‘santha’ at low cost. He said that the APSRTC would strengthen its fleet by adding 4,000 new busses including Mercedes Benz for rural routes and Volvo for long distance soon.
Responding to a question, the PCC president said the party would treat those MLAs, who joined Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, as Congress members only if they come to Gandhi Bhavan and show their loyalty towards party.
