Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is an avid book reader who has a habit of reading at least five books at a time.
“I have a habit of reading 4-5 books simultaneously. I like to read books. I am not comfortable reading on e-format.
I feel uneasy (using it),” the chief minster said while addressing a gathering after inaugurating new building of a private library here.
“I read 4-5 books at a time and I can switch between the books. I have one in my car, another at bedside and another in a washroom,” the former Defence Minister said.
The CM said he has at least two books at his workplace and reads them whenever he gets time.
“When your focus gets distracted, the best way to get it back is to read a book,” the IITian said.
He said currently he is reading a book on Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
