Love for deaf brother turns man into murderer

Embarrassed over his deaf brother’s removal from work, prompted a man to kill a worker, who had argued against his continuing there. This incident, which happened on November 6, sent goose bumps in the entire locality. The police arrested the alleged murderer and his accomplice on Monday.

According to police, the accused, Md Riyaz, 20, and his friend Md Omer, 18, allegedly stabbed twice on the back of Abdul Razak, 24, with a knife, while he was coming out of a mosque after attending Zohar prayers. Both the accused are residents of Golconda.

About three months ago, due to some irregularities and poor performance, Md Shahbaz, elder brother of Riyaz was removed from work from Muneeb Enterprise in Golconda by Raheem, the owner. After coming to know about the helplessness of his deaf brother, Riyaz went to the workshop and had an argument with owner and Abdul Razak. After Razak warned Riyaz not to visit again, he developed a grudge and sought his friend Omer’s help. “While Omer drew Abdul Razak’s attention, Riyaz stabbed him from back”, Asif Nagar ACP A Srinivas said.

A special team comprising of Inspector Md Munawar, Sub-Inspector Ramlal and others investigated the case. (INN)
