Telangana State Lorry and Mini Bus Truck owners’ Association, in its meeting held yesterday passed a resolution against the ban imposed on the entry of lorries in the city. President of the Association, Mr. R. Balaiah and Secretary, Mr. Iqbal Hussain told that police is imposing fines on lorry drivers and harassing fines on lorry drivers and harassing them on silly reasons.
In the event of non-payment of fine amount, lorries are being seized and shifted to Gosha Mahal Stadium. They said that the atrocities of the police are affecting the lives of the lorry drivers adversely. If this ban is not lifted all the lorry owners will observe bandh from 15th March onwards.
