Like every year, to appreciate women in science stream, Loreal India is back with Young Women in Science Scholarship 2017 and is calling out to all the young ladies who are fresh pass- outs from high school. Women currently enrolled in graduation course in any science related stream from any educational institute in India can apply for this scholarship which aims to assist them financially.
Application submission closes on July 10, 2017. To check the eligibility and application procedures follow the proceedings:
Eligibility Criteria:
• Only female candidates are invited.
• Candidate’s age must not be more than 19 years, as on May 31, 2017.
• Fresh pass- out candidates from class +2 in science stream with 85% in PCB or PCM are requested to apply.
• Candidate’s family income should be less than 4L p.a.
• Candidate must be currently enrolled in any science related graduation course from any educational institution in India.
Scholarship Reward:
Eligible and selected candidates will get scholarship amount of up to INR 2.5L, which will be disbursed in equal installmentsover the period of the degree study, subject to the submission of proof of the candidate passing each year.

About:
Loreal India constituted this programme in year 2003which has over the years helped many young women in pursuing scientific studies. The scholarship amount has been a boon to economically disadvantaged young women.
