Lords’ students selected for presenting research papers at ISRO, NASA

Hyderabad: Students of Mechanical Engineering of Lords’ Institute of Engineering and Technology attend a pre-conference workshop organized by Defence Metallurgical Laboratory (DMRL) from 23rd to 27th July.

Scientists from American Air Force, PSL Research University, France, Vietnam, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Bhabha Atomic Research Center, DMRL, IITs, NITs participated in it.

Shaik Ikramuddin, Mohammed Mastan, Rehan Ahmed, Syed Ibrahim Ali, Syed Asifuddin Hasan, Tanveer Alam, Mohammed Mustafa Ali Baig, Mohammed Abid Jaffar, Mohammed A Ashraf, Shahid Zaid, students of 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering and K. Ahmed Mohiuddin Saberi, Mr. Abdullah bin Bagra, Mohammed Zakir Husain and Mansoor Ahmed Nakshbandi, students of 4th year of Mechanical Engineering have been selected for presenting research papers at ISRO and NASA. All these students are carrying out research on materials used in spaceships. They are interested to know the speed of these vehicles and the capability of friction.

They hoped that ISRO will benefit from their research.
