In the latest 132nd episode of ‘Jan Gan Man Ki Baat’, Vinod Dua exposed the double standard of BJP, the so-called nationalist party, which extolled Rohini Singh when she wrote about Robert Vadra’s dealings with DLF, but now trying to defend Jay Shah with all its might. He also cited Modi’s speech which he delivered on September 27, 2015.
Vinod Dua compares the political reactions to Robert Vadra’s corruption scandal and Jay Amit Shah’s remarkable business growth and said government’s minister who is earning through the tax payers’ money is not supposed to defend party’s leaders. Government favouring a businessman is uncalled for, he said. Amit Shah’s son has threatened to file defamation suit of Rs. 100 Cr against the Wire. Criminal case has already booked, he informed.
Dua also slammed Siddharth Nath Singh, grandson of Lal Bahadur Shastri for terming the Wire report as ‘Supari Journalism’. This can be directly a case of defamation, he said.
Discussing the Supreme Court’s ban on the sale of firecrackers in Delhi-NCR, Dua explained how the fire crackers increase sound and air pollution. Vinod Dua welcomed the Supreme Court’s ban on firecrackers and claimed that it will have “Positive effect” on the health of citizens and a steadily deteriorating air quality. He asked those who are linking it with religion to look SC’s ban on the sale of firecrackers through health spectacle not through religious spectacle.
