Hyderabad, October 06: RTC employees strike for the past 17 days is proving to be the longest so far which caused a loss of Rs. 150 Cr to the corporation. RTC employees in all the ten districts of Telangana have created a record of going on strike for the longest period in the history of RTC. All the past strikes of RTC employees were organized throughout the state but the present strike is being observed in the Telangana Region in which 60 thousand employees are participating.
Many RTC drivers and conductors told that on account of strike they are not celebrating Dassehra. They said that after the formation of Separate Telangana State they would celebrate it on a grand scale.
