Washington: United States President Donald Trump has branded London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s statement on the recent terror attack as a ‘pathetic excuse’.
“Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his “no reason to be alarmed” statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!”Trump tweeted.

Earlier, Trump had slammed London Mayor Sadiq Khan for saying that there is “no reason to be alarmed!” after seven persons were killed and several others injured as three assailants ran over a crowd of people and stabbed several others before being shot dead.
“At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is “no reason to be alarmed!” Trump said in a tweet.
Sadiq had earlier told the residents of London that there will be additional armed and unarmed police officers on the streets and assured the people that the city remains one of the safest in the world.
He added that there was no reason to be alarmed about an increased police presence on the streets of London.
Sadiq’s spokesman had said after Trump’s tweet earlier that the mayor had more important things to do than respond to U.S. President’s ill-informed tweet.
“People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!” Trump said in a tweet.

The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.

Trump said that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should have fought for his original travel ban order, instead of the “watered down, politically correct version” submitted to the Supreme Court.
The Justice Dept. should ask for an expedited hearing of the watered down Travel Ban before the Supreme Court – & seek much tougher version!

Trump in another tweet said that his administration are ‘extreme vetting’ people coming into the U.S. in order to help keep our country safe.
In any event we are EXTREME VETTING people coming into the U.S. in order to help keep our country safe. The courts are slow and political!

Federal courts are still debating over Trump administration’s travel ban on whether it fulfils constitutional criteria but Trump has sought permission from the Supreme Court to enforce the administration’s proposal to temporarily ban people from six Muslim-majority countries fron entering the U.S.
