LONDON: A lot of people are comparing Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May and Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn gestures following a deadly fire in the Grenfell Tower.
She was criticised for talking to only police officers and firefighters at the 24-storey high-rise apartment building but not with the residents who’ve lost their home or people.
Meanwhile Jeremy Corbyn visited St Clements Church and also spoke to those who have been left homeless after the tragedy.
“It’s been very traumatic,” he said, “but there’s a wonderful community. I’ve seen some desperate stress and sadness.
“We will get to the bottom of this. My thoughts are with these people. There are still bodies to find in this dreadful building and we will demand and get answers to this and every other tower block.”
May has been critised for keeping her visit private whereas Corbyn met volunteers and spent about half an hour with them.
Many on social media compare the difference between Corbyn and Theresa May.
