(Siasat News) Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate granted bail to Lokesh Sharma and Deverder Gupta. Magistrate ordered them to deposit their passports in the court.
It is reported that despite getting bail, they will still be in Jaipur Jail because Special Investigation Team of Rajasthan has included their names in the list of five terrorists against whom charge sheet was submitted in 2007 in connection with Ajmer blast case.
It may be recalled that a bomb was blast on 18th May 2007 after Friday prayer in Makka Masjid in which nine persons were killed. Police had killed five persons by opening fire on the agitators.
It is learnt from reliable sources that National Investigation Agency opposed their bail petitions. It had filed a charge sheet in which Indiresh Kumar Gupta’s name was also included along with Assemanand.
Human Rights Activists reacted that it seems that investigating agencies are not serious about resolving these cases. They also said that by releasing these terrorists, there could be a danger of tarnishing the proofs of the case.
