Amravati: The suspense over the Assembly seat from where TDP national general secretary and son of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu Nara Lokesh is likely to contest, has finally been over. The party president has decided to field Lokesh from Mangalagiri Assembly segment, where the current capital of the State is located. The CM has come to the conclusion that it would be the best option for Lokesh to contest from the Mangalagiri seat as it would help him develop in a comprehensive manner.
Following the decision by the party high command, Lokesh held a meeting with the party leaders from Mangalagiri in order to prepare the election strategy. The party leadership earlier thought of fielding Lokesh from Bhimili, Kuppam and Visakhapatnam East Assembly constituency. The party had lost the Mangalagiri seat by just 12 votes.
