The Lok Satta Party termed the attack on its national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan by Telangana lawyers in Delhi earlier in the day as barbaric.
In a media statement, State Lok Satta Party President Katari Srinivasa Rao deplored that the lawyers, instead of exposing those who triggered, nurtured and nourished the crisis in the State, chose to attack Dr. JP who unveiled a comprehensive, amicable and practicable solution that takes care of the interests of all regions of the State.
He demanded that action be taken against the lawyers who took law into their own hands and acted like rowdies.
Lok Satta Party workers conducted a demonstration at Dr. Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund to protest against the attack on Dr. JP. Asking all democratic forces to condemn the attack on Dr. JP, Mr. Srinivasa Rao called upon party workers to conduct demonstrations at Ambedkar statues all over the State on February 12.(NSS)
