For Lok Sabha polls, Aam Aadmi Party will focuse on 3 states

Aam Aadmi Party plans to contest elections with full strength in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana for the Lok Sabha elections and use most of its organizational strength and energy to get the maximum number of seats in these three states.

AAP Delhi convener Gopal Rai announced this strategy during an informal interaction, marks a departure from the one used by the party in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls in which they had performed miserably across the country, except in Punjab where it won four of the 13 seats.

Earlier In 2014 general elections, the AAP across the country had contested on over 400 seats.

States like Rajasthan, MP, Chhattisgarh the Aam Aadmi Party will field suitable candidates on selected seats where it receives a positive feedback and has a chance of victory.

Earlier at the end of October, the AAP announced candidates for five of the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab. It named sitting MP Bhagwant Mann from Sangrur and Sadhu Singh from Faridkot.

Arvind Kejriwal has been focusing on Haryana and visiting frequently there from the past few months. He is planning his best to sell the Delhi model of governance in the neighbouring state.
