Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) and BSP who were not ready to enter into an alliance with Congress to form proposed anti-BJP Grand Alliance in Uttar Pradesh, now the same parties after the Congress won Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh elections are ready to join Grand Alliance.
With the victory of Congress, the political atmosphere of Hindi heartland has undergone a sea change and rumours are rife in political circles of UP that the Grand Alliance will be formed on a new formula.
Mayawati and Akhilesh who were hesitating to go with Congress to form a Grand Alliance, have by announcing unconditional support to Congress in Madhya Pradesh, have given the message that they are ready to go with Congress against BJP.
After the results of assembly elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has also told before the media that to oust BJP from power, he will work with opposition parties including SP and BSP.
