Hyderabad: As the lockdown start in the state, many organizations, ngos and individuals came forward to help the needy.
Many individuals providing ration kits to poor people from their own savings without any donations.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi announced a 21-day country wide lockdown which is now extended to 3 May, and in Telangana the Chief Minister KCR announced the lockdown till 7 May.
Syed Wasif Ullah Quadri, resident of Kishanbagh, distributing ration kits among the poor since the lockdown start in the city on 25 March.
Daily he is distributing 500 kits among the poor, irrespective of their religion. Till now he distributed 8,000 to 10,000 ration kits.
As Ramadan is about to come, he is also making special kits for Ramadan.
