Despite a Muslim political party’s break up with the Congress party, most of the Congress leaders are still sure that this severance will not continue longer and if not before the elections the two parties will patch up after elections. Congress leaders believe that the Muslim political party has always been with the ruling party, even if it was belligerent towards that party before the elections.
Commenting upon the present situation a Congress leader told that the possibilities of the Muslim party reconciling with Congress in the aftermath of elections cannot be denied, because even as it sever ties with the Congress, the parties central leaders are only targeting Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and avoid targeting Congress or Congress president Sonia Gandhi and prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He says that even Kiran Kumar Reddy is being targeting not because any of his moves had been against Muslim community but he refused to dance to the tune of the members of the party in question.
As per the analysis of a Telugu daily, the present market value of the land for which the Muslim political party was pressurising the government to transfer in the name of their institutions is Rs 4000 crore and Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy avoided conceding their demand. Congress leaders believe that by not targeting Congress and central leadership of Congress, the Muslim political party wants to keep the path of reconciliation open.
