Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today stated that local bodies of Gram Panchayats and Municipalities should supply safe drinking water to all schools and colleges in their jurisdictions. He asked the leaders to try to instill confidence among the people on their grievances and address the same avoiding delay.
Addressing TRS Training Classes at Nagarjuna Sagar’s Vijaya Vihar, the Chief Minister said that the local bodies should focus on ensuring proper maintenance of the schools to have all facilities. The district administration will monitor the issue, he said adding that local leaders will coordinate with the officials. The flagship program of water grid will be implemented at any cost to ensure that every household get pure drinking waters. “We have announced the program to be taken up on a war-footing and there is no dearth of funds”, he stated.
