Siasat Urdu Daily will soon organize a loan Mela with the cooperation of State Government to arrange loans for unemployed Muslim women to help them establish Small Scale House Hold Industries. A platform will be created for Muslim women to get loans from the Govt. There are plenty of funds for the welfare schemes for women but so far, these funds have not been utilized by properly by anyone. Siasat Urdu Daily will make efforts for the utilization of these funds. An awareness campaign will be organized for Muslim women to guide them for getting loans.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan Editor of Siasat addressing the valedictory function of cookery classes yesterday. He advised women to use healthy food and also to learn how to cook tasty dishes. He told that it is one of the most popular programs of Siasat. Muslim women get an opportunity to learn to cook tasty dishes. He told that Siasat Urdu Daily will not hesitate in conducting such programs in future. It has kept itself always active. In order to inculcate the habit of cooking good food, Siasat Urdu Daily will publish a unique book on cookery which consists of recipes of Asif Jahi period. It will contain 100 recipes. It will publish both Urdu and English. By reading this book the citizen of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad will be aware of preparation of tasty dishes of the past.
Referring to the education of women, he said that Siasat has always been active for empowering Muslim women through education. It organize various camps to promote arts and house hold industries. He advised Muslim women to educate their children in the best possible way. He also told that to avoid paying donations to colleges of Higher Education for admissions into Medical and Engineering Courses. He pointed out that there are hundreds of seats available for Muslim students in various colleges. They can get free seats in these colleges. Muslim families should not hesitate to sacrifice for getting their children educated. It is every mother’s dream to get her child in the best possible way. Mothers are the means to give pleasures to the children. Siasat Urdu Daily has played a key role in creating an awareness among Muslim especially in Muslim women.
Present on this occasion Ms. Surakha Rani, Joint Collector of Hyderabad applauded the efforts of Siasat Urdu Daily in promoting the talents of Muslim women in various fields. She said that beside cooking women should concentrate on the education of the children. She assured that she would extend every possible assistance for establishing small scale industries by women. She said that she would also cooperate Siasat Urdu Daily in organizing loan mela. Women can get subsidy for their schemes.
Addressing on this occasion, Ms. Lakhmi Devi Raj told that the campaign Siasat Urdu Daily is organizing for creating an awareness among the Muslim women is appreciable. She told that Hyderabadi dishes are very famous through out the world. Besides cookery, women should learn other arts also. Mr. Mohd Jaffer, Managing Director of Sana Gardern Function Hall near Charminar played a key role in organizing cookery classes. He said that he would continue to extend his corporations in all such programs of cookery in the future as well. He said that it was a marvelous program. He promised that next year also these classes would be conducted.
Earlier, a cookery competition was conducted with a condition to cook only one dish but many women cooked many good dishes. These dishes included Egg pudding, KFC Chicken, Sufiyani Biryani etc. A dumb and deaf girl also participated in this competition. She prepared tasty Jilaibi. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan appreciated her efforts and awarded a cash prize of Rs.5, 000. He advised her to continue her efforts in getting education. Executive Chef, Mr. Swamy Nandhan, Chef Raju and Chef Dada selected the best dishes for awarding prizes. Ms. Ratna Chotrani, Staff Reporter of Siasat presided over the valedictory function of cookery. Mr. Mohd Ismail Ahmed, Mr. Mohd Sayeed bin Nasser, Mr. Zahid Hussain, Mr. Syed Ahmeduddin Quadri, Mr. Mohd Abdul Baseer and Mr. Mohd Mazher Ali Khan(Marketing Dept) extended their corporation in conducting cookery classes. Ms. Khadija express her best talent in making the function a grand success.
The prizes includes Refrigerator, Oven, Washing Machine, Oven, Mixer, Grinder, Toaster Grinder, Press (Iron) and pearl sets. Many consolation prizes will also given. These cookery classes is sponsored by Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil along with Tirumala Music Center, Khoobs and Sana Garden etc with media partner as Hybiz.tv., 1500 women participated in the three day cookery program held at Sana Garden near Charminar.
