Loan applications received from minority candidates to seek loans under Self Employment Scheme have been referred to respective banks for sanctioning. Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation Prof. S A Shukoor told that the corporation received 20215 applications which are far more than the target. He told that the applications have been referred to the respective banks and the banks after reviewing the unit of the candidates will decide sanction of loans.
He reiterated that Corporation has begun sending the applications to banks hence the candidates should approach their respective bank and try to settle their applications. He informed that the government had earmarked Rs. 100 crore for this scheme and Rs. 32 crore have been released so far in two installments as subsidy.
