Ghar Ko Lagi Hai Aag Jo Ghar Ke Charagh Se
Hum Ahle-Hind Bhi Kahan Darte Hain Daagh Se
Ghar Ko Bachane Jab Aayi Hai Ghar Ki Betiyaan
Lo Inqilaab Gunja Hai Shaheen Bagh Se
Humse Saboot Mangna Mehnga Pada Unhe
Kagaz Ko Yu Khangaalna Mehnga Pada Unhe
Bachon Se Bewakufi Me Panga Toh Leliya
Maaon Ko Ab Sambhalna Mehnga Pada Unhe
The protest at Shaheen Bagh, a Muslim dominated neighbourhood near Jamia Millia Islamia, began with the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act in December last year had a ripple effect across the country.
