Patna, July 16: The LJP today demanded immediate dismissal of the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government in the wake of Patna High Court order for a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in development schemes in the state.
“The centre should dismiss the state government immediately,” Paswan told reporters here.
He said a joint delegation of the RJD-LJP led by him would call on Governor D Konwar seeking to recommend dismissal of the Nitish Kumar government for ensuring “an impartial and fair” probe into the irregularities.
It is high time that the chief minister resign owing “moral responsibility” for the scam, Paswan said.
