London, September 07: Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi will replace compatriot Giancarlo Fisichella at Force India for the remaining five races of the season, the Formula One team said on Monday.
Fisichella has joined Ferrari from this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix as replacement for injured Brazilian Felipe Massa.
Liuzzi was the test driver for Silverstone-based Force India and last raced in Formula One with Toro Rosso in 2007, with sixth place in China his best finish.
