New Delhi: The recent horrendous “Little Nirbhaya” Mandasur gang-rape victim’s family demands death penalty for the accused.
The father of the seven-year-old victim battling for her life in hospital has refused to accept the compensation offered by MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, News Nation reported.
“I do not want any compensation. I just want the accused to be hanged,” ANI quoted the father of the victim.
MP CM Shivraj had transferred Rs 5 Lakhs in the bank account of victim’s father said Women and Child Development Minister for State Archana Chitnis.
“CM has transferred Rs five lakh in her father’s account. Hope police finds the accused very soon so that can be hanged. The State Government will take care of her health & education,” Chitnis was quoted saying.
The seven-year-old Mandasur gang-rape victim was brutally raped with her throat slit, ruptured intestines and was left to die in pain is now battling for her life, a similar incident and a painful reminder of 2012 Nirbahya Gang rape.
The ‘little Nirbhaya’ was waiting for her father to pick her up after school when the 20-year-old accused identified as Irfan Khan, took her to a secluded place and raped her brutally leaving her to die after the inhuman assault.
The little child miraculously survived the inhuman assault with her throat slit and was found at night lying in a pool of blood. She was immediately rushed to Indore’s MY Hospital in a critical condition.
The Police arrested the accused and learned another accused involved in the horrendous crime was on the run.
The Police has now launched manhunt for the second accused.
