LiLo files lawsuit against ‘Grand Theft Auto’ for crafting character on her

Lindsay Lohan has filed a lawsuit against the video game makers of Grand Theft Auto for creating a character named Lacey Jonas that looks like her.

According to the legal papers, the recently turned 28 actress’ lookalike character, parties at the Hotel Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, where Lohan had once lived, and also ‘escapes paparazzi’ as a mission in the game, the New York Post reported.

The documents also claim that the character was shown wearing similar clothes, hair style, accessories as worn by the ‘Mean Girls’ star, before the video game’s release, in addition to their cover image, which was a reminder Lohan’s famous swimsuit selfie snap, where she’s making a peace sign.

Lohan, who had been threatening a legal action since December 2013, apparently never gave permission to the creators to base the character on her, and is said to be claiming an unspecified amount of money from them. (ANI)
